Location: Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City, New Jersey

Inspired by aircraft construction, the architects asked Amuneal to develop a production method, materials and finishes to match their vision. To meet their objective, we sourced a special grade of aluminum that allowed us to cut and hand-fabricate nearly 4,000 individual pieces to create this unique geometry. For added detail and structure, each piece was attached to a solid MDF structure with over 12,000 finish nails. The final assembly was then hand hammered and polished to create this highly refined yet inviting surface.
