This project was comprised of a number of interesting elements that came together to create a wonderful use of space for this NY Loft-style Home. With a two story tall glass and steel structure with integral sliding doors, a ships-style ladder leading to a mezzanine, book shelves on pivots to conceal a storage area beyond, and a complete custom zebrawood and blackened steel kitchen, this project presented a number of challenging engineering, fabrication, and installation challenges.
