11 Jan Amuneal’s “Mad Scientist” chosen for Project M
With the goal of inspiring young designers to make a contribution that can have a positive and significant impact on the world, each year Project M invites designers from varied backgrounds to apply for 10 available positions.
We are very proud to announce that one of Amuneal’s team was chosen to participate in this multidisciplinary design project. Justin Kumpf, a fabricator with a background in industrial design and a passion for discovery, spent two weeks collaborating on a project at Winterhouse that resulted in a project that influenced the local farming community. Culminating with Pizza Farm, an event that recognized the rich local tradition and resources of agricultural products, the design team helped to educate the community and cross-pollinate ideas and commercial awareness for the surrounding agricultural entrepreneurs.
To help inform us of his project and the impact that it has been making, Justin sponsored a Pizza Farm at Amuneal. Tapping into our group of inspired gardeners, employees were encouraged to bring in their fresh ingredients and share them in an afternoon of cooking and communal dining.
