Sales + Design Coordinator - New York Showroom

Amuneal Manufacturing Corp. has an immediate opening in our New York Showroom for a Sales & Design Coordinator.
This role will focus on our luxury furniture and architectural product offerings. This role is primarily responsible for customer support and collaboration with our Sales & Design team.

Confidence, a clean design aesthetic, the ability to spark interest in others, direct customer interaction and experience in the selling of high-end designed products are a must. Candidates must have the ability to organize their own time, multitask in a dynamic environment, be proactive, and above all else…problem solve. We are looking for someone who is eager to connect with people and translate their needs into timeless experiences and products. To be successful, candidates must have a strong interest in the creation of high-end products. Responsibilities

  • • Act as the customer’s first point of contact from initial dialogue through design, estimation, and final sale.
  • • Manage and respond to inquiries from the NY Showroom, website, and phone.
  • • Prepare for and host client meetings, establish action items, and work with our internal team to respond to deliverables with urgency.
  • • Generate schematic sketches, drawings, and renderings to support design presentations related to team and customer requests.
  • • Become expert in Amuneal’s products and fabrication capabilities.
  • • Assure the showroom is always prepared for client meetings.
  • • Maintain the showroom calendar and event schedule.
  • • Coordinate with the factory team to ensure the showroom has updated and interesting samples as well as photography of projects in production.
  • • Explore opportunities to leverage technology and enhance the connection between our clients, the showroom, and the factory.
  • • Collaborate with senior sales and marketing team members to update metrics and maintain customer contact.
  • • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
  • • Collaborate with Amuneal’s dedicated product engineers to review and catalog all released drawings.
  • • Capture and catalog in-process photos of Amuneal’s products during installations in New York City.
  • • Visit Philadelphia headquarters weekly to expand technical knowledge and coordinate in-process projects.

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree or proven interest in one or more of the following fields: industrial design, product design, architecture, interior design, furniture design, graphic design, fine arts, and or marketing.
  • • Portfolio of work or inspiration that demonstrates good, clean design aesthetic.
  • • Sales + Customer service experience with a track record of superb attention to detail, organization, and passion for the customer experience.
  • • Professionalism in-person and under pressure.
  • • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • • Proficiency in 3D modeling & digital (Rhino, SolidEdge, Keyshot, Procreate) or hand rendering preferred.

Construction Project Manager / Senior Construction Project Manager

  • • 5+ years of working experience in a professional environment in the architecture, construction or custom fabrication industries.
  • • Ability to read and understand architectural and/or engineering drawings.
  • • Ability to draw in 2D CAD and/or 3D model in software such as Solidworks, Solid Edge, Rhino, Inventor, etc.
  • • High comfort level meeting and interfacing with clients at all levels of their organization.
  • • High comfort level working on construction sites conducting site surveys and coordinating with other trades. Must not be afraid to get dirty on occasion.
  • • Able to travel frequently to job sites in New York and the Philadelphia area.
  • • Strong personal organization skills.

Driver - Transporter

Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking a Driver – Transporters to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. We are seeking detail-oriented and determined candidates who will be responsible for supporting material handling, product shipments, and installations.

Minimum Requirements – basic considerations for applicants

• Experience using equipment to move material, store and secure loads, load and unload trucks

• Experienced with “normal” logistics paperwork i.e. packing slips, BOL, shipping manifest etc

• Ability to lift, place, package and deliver custom materials/products that vary in weight and shape

• Fast learner with the demonstrated ability to build a technical knowledge about unfamiliar products and processes

• Ability to communicate in a professional and mature manner and confidence to work with vendors and customers

Metal Finisher

Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking talented Metal Finishers to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. Candidates should have demonstrable experience working with patina finishes. They will be expected to be able to produce finishes on products based on both written directions (finish codes on drawings) and verbal communication. Employees will be offered in-house training on our finishing processes to strengthen core skills and build knowledge and experience.

Minimum Requirements– basic considerations for applicants:

• 2+ years of experience with patina finishes

• Basic knowledge of blueprints and reading drawings

• Detail oriented, able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to differentiate different type of materials/metals: steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, etc.

• Familiar with operating pneumatic hand tools, power tools, and typical finishing equipment such as right-angle grinders, dynafiles, pistol grip sanders, orbital sanders, etc.

Minimum Requirements– basic considerations for applicants:

• Hand finishing – orbital sanding, oiling, staining

• Ability to work in a team setting

• Detail oriented, able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Basic understanding of woodshop tools (table saw, joiner/planer, router, bandsaw, etc.)

They will be responsible for a variety of production tasks in our Woodshop while meeting Amuneal’s standards for quality and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a furniture shop or similar environment

• Experience in setup and operation of all woodshop equipment/machinery, including:

o Planer/Joiner

o Table Saw

o Band Saw

o Router

o Wide belt sander

• Ability to read plans and generate cut lists

• Ability to lead a small team and meet milestones set by the scheduling team

• Flexible hours & willingness to work overtime & weekends

Preferred Requirements:
